How A Touch of Elegance Décor Came to Be

Sue Guenette didn't start A Touch of Elegance because she saw a business opportunity. She started it because she kept hearing the same thing from couples: "I have to choose between the wedding I want and the wedding I can afford." That shouldn't be a choice anyone has to make.

It began small. Lending pieces to friends, styling events around Durham Region, learning what worked and what didn't. The people she helped kept telling her to keep going, and eventually she did.

Now this is all she does. What started with a few borrowed pieces is now a name couples in Durham Region trust with their wedding.

Beautiful celebrations don't require massive budgets. Just someone who cares enough to make it happen.
