These Terms ofService ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the A Touch ofElegance Décor website and services. By accessing or using the website, youagree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use thewebsite or services.
Services Provided
A Touch ofElegance Décor provides wedding and event décor rental and styling services inDurham Region, Ontario, including consultation, curated rental selection,delivery, setup, and teardown. Services are arranged through consultation andconfirmed upon booking. Service areas, availability, and delivery terms aredescribed on the website and confirmed during the booking process.
Payment and Billing
Bookings aresecured with a deposit of 25% of the rental total, with the remaining balancedue 30 days before the event date. A refundable security deposit is alsocollected and is returned once all rental items are checked in in theiroriginal condition. Normal wear and minor damage are covered by the rental fee;costs for significant damage may be deducted from the security deposit asoutlined during consultation.
Cancellationsmade 90 or more days before the event date receive a full deposit refund minusan administrative fee. Cancellations inside that window are subject to theterms confirmed at booking. Postponements may be transferred to a new datewithin 12 months, subject to availability. Order modifications may be requestedup to 30 days before the event date, subject to availability; reductions inorder size follow the standard cancellation terms.
User Responsibilities
Users agree touse the website responsibly and for lawful purposes only. Users must not misusethe website, interfere with its operation, or use it in ways that violateapplicable laws or the rights of others. We reserve the right to refuse servicewhere misuse or unlawful activity is detected.
Intellectual Property
All contentavailable through the website, including text, design, branding, photography,and materials, is the property of A Touch of Elegance Décor or its licensorsand is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may notreproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content withoutprior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullestextent permitted by law, A Touch of Elegance Décor shall not be liable for anyindirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss ofprofits, revenue, or data, arising from the use of the website or services.
Additional Terms
Rental bookingsmay be subject to additional terms set forth in a separate rental agreement. Inthe event of a conflict between these Terms and that agreement, the rentalagreement shall prevail.
Changes to These Terms
We may updatethese Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with arevised effective date. Continued use after changes are published constitutesacceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms aregoverned by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province ofOntario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
